I couldn"t recommend Core Independent Drainage more highly. When we moved house we quickly found that the drains from our bathroom were frequently blocking due to a badly designed drainage system installed with too many bends and kinks. We called Core and Arthur came out the same day to unblock it. He then redesigned the system and installed it, explaining every step of the process to ensure we fully understood what he was doing.

This fundamental system now works perfectly. Arthur"s attention to detail and quality meant that he then changed some pipes on the exterior to make them aesthetically much better, but refused to charge us for the additional pipes.

Extremely professional and lovely to work with, we received an exceptional service from Core.

Telephoned night before & left a message. Within 30 mins received a call back from Arthur. Understood the situation and exchanged information required swiftly and professionally.
Quoted me his rates and possible duration of job to give an idea of costs.

Having had to leave work to cover job being done, Arthur arrived on time and assessed the job-in-hand. Had the problem all sorted in 20 mins. Excellent professional service & trade.

I called Core Independent Drainage to clear a blocked toilet. They arrived within the time frame I requested to be able to fit around work etc. Within five minutes they were able to determine the problem was actually outside; underground and was filling the pipe all the way up to the toilet!

They cleared the blockage and explained the cause ensuring I understood, especially explaining the importance of not using wet wipes despite what they say on the packet!!

I called Core Drainage based on the reviews and they are all true! I had a blocked drain in the garden that was overflowing, I spoke to Arthur on the phone he explained what he thought was wrong in terms I could understand. The price quoted was the actual charge after the job was completed! Very refreshing!!! No hidden fees or different prices for different pieces of equipment as I have experienced in previous problems! Very professional!! Honest, very hard working tried to get everything done within the hour as he had said. Overall very impressed and I would highly recommend!! Thank you :-)

I had a blocked shower drain. Arthur came and sorted it-no problem. He was quick, attentive to detail, very friendly and sorted the problem in about an hour. I can honestly say if you need a drainage specialist, look no further- Arthur and Core drainage are the ones to call.

John from Maghull. Had a blocked drain, rang Friday 2 PM and Arthur arrived 2 hrs later, phoned 45 mins before to give arrival time which was great. Very helpful and within 30 minutes had spoken to neighbours and after investigations informed me I was on a shared system and it was the responsibility of United Utilities.

As this was a big job Arthur saved charging me for work that I could get done for free, not many company's would do that in my experience. Would definitely recommend Arthur to anyone with drainage problems, an honest, fair and very knowledgeable professional. Thanks a lot Arthur.

I had a problem with a blocked toilet and the manhole in my back yard backing up. I called Arthur, who trouble-shooted the problem over the phone and fitted me in at a time that suited me. His professionalism and high standards of customer care came across when he was explaining why I was having such problems and he got the job done quickly and efficiently for an affordable price. Fantastic service from Arthur. I rang him on Sunday and he was really helpful and said if I've made it this far through Sunday I'd be ok until Monday as the price would be significantly cheaper. (Not many would do that). He came Monday and sorted out the problem. I am over the moon with the service. I will be keeping this number and will pass it on to anyone I know who needs an honest workman.

Had a blocked toilet and need to call someone out to fix the problem.
Hated picking a company out from Yell and hoping for the best. Came across CORE INDEPENDENT DRAINAGE and it's excellent reviews and thought 'nothing to lose'.

Arthur came within the time stated (same day, within a few hours) and solved the issue within about 45 minutes. Cleaned up for me as well.

Highly recommended and the cost was slightly cheaper than what I had been quoted when I called another company.
Word of warning, DON'T flush wet wipes down your toilet but if it's too late, then don't hesitate to give him a a call.
A++++++, 5 stars or 2 major thumbs up.

Having found a horrible pool of foul waste at the back of my house, flooding from the kitchen drain, I needed a drainage company fast. Having had a drainage problem back in 2014, I again called Core Independent Drainage. Attending quickly and after briefly assessing the problem, it was not long before the drain was cleared. The awful foul mess was cleaned up too! A word to the wise, anybody out there flushing toilet wipes, don't!! Just an all round professional service, informative and the cost very reasonable. Having reviewed this company in 2014, and as mentioned then, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Woke up this morning with heavy rain and all outside drains blocked and patio flooding. Called CORE and spoke to Arthur and within 2 hours he was at my house. Did an excellent job for a reasonable fee and was very professional and polite. From my experience I have no hesitation in recommending this company for blocked drains.

I had a problem with outside drains backing up. Arthur arrived within a few hours of calling and confirmed a time half an hour before so no waiting around. The drain was sorted within an hour and he clearly explained the issue and work completed. Highly recommended.

Recently had a problem with a blocked drain, had a look on the internet and came across this company, read the reviews and decided to give this company a call, left a message and within 5 minutes the gentleman had rung us back, after explaining the problem to him he told us that he would be able to come and look at this for us that afternoon (this being a Saturday) Arthur was at our house within twenty minutes and our drains were sorted within the hour, WOW Well Done, what a nice genuine guy, we would definitely use this service again if the need arose and we would definitely recommend him to our family and friends. Called 08:54 re: blocked trains and terrible smell backing up into the premises
The engineer ( Arthur) turned up as promised very promptly and asked me the relevant questions to establish the situation After discussing the possibilities, he set to work and within the hour had cleared all that he could, alleviated the smell & isolated the source of the problem . The immediate blockage was clear but there was an issue outside the boundary of the premises that needed further investigation. At this point, he could've easily kept water - jetting to little or no avail and ran up an additional hours labour or part thereof etc ( like another company did last year ! ) & charged me for the effort , but he didn't. Instead, he politely suggested that I call united utilities who would take the issue on at no further cost to me.

What a professional tradesman and how helpful. His pricing was very fair , his communication from start to finish excellent, & his courtesy and professionalism first class. Thanks very much you are a pleasure to deal with & will be highly recommended

I have no hesitation in recommending Arthur. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in sorting out my drainage problem as well as a couple of other small jobs that I needed doing in the house. Just called the firm out tonight to fix a leak - Others who were local did not respond even though they advertised 24hr service. This chap (Arthur) is very helpful, he was here in 10 mins (lives local), felt very much at ease with him and was charged a very fair price. Especially as it was late on. He got my water back on promplty. Big Thanks to a trustworthy firm.

Arthur did an exceptional job yesterday (new years eve), came out promptly, fully investigated the issue even so much as speaking to the neighbours and trying to understand the local drainage flows.
